Halo 3 Now Officially Has 4 Player Online Co-op

Speaking at a Microsoft press conference in Amsterdam earlier today, Bungie has confirmed, once and for all, that Halo 3 will feature two to four player online co-operative play over Xbox Live.

Wing Commandder Arena

More downloadable content for F.E.A.R. has been put up on the Marketplace. This pack costs 550 Microsoft Points and is roughly 316.73MB in size.

Bomberman Live and Yie Ar Kung-Fu on Xbox Live Arcade

Two new Xbox Live Arcade titles have been released this week, “Bomberman Live” and “Yie Ar Kung-Fu“.

Bomberman Live is 800 Microsoft Points and Yie Ar Kung-Fu is 400 Microsoft Points.

If you only want to purchase one, Bomberman Live is the better buy in my opinion. It is an iconic and classic game.

Even Newer Halo 3 Campaign Screenshot and Trailer

Some more screenshots of the Halo 3 campaign have been released aswell as another trailer. The trailer is rather weird, its the Marines as real people. It could possibly have been designed to try and get the Halo movie project back of the ground. Anyway, they are all posted below.

Texas Hold ‘em Update On Xbox Live Arcade

An update for the fairly popular Xbox Live Arcade game “Texas Hold ‘em” has been released. This is the official description from the developers.

The free update will introduce several significant features, bug fixes and updates based on user feedback, including Xbox LIVE Vision Camera support (player bankrolls will not be reset with this update).

Now with live video, players can put on their best poker face and scrutinize the faces of their opponent’s in true poker fashion. Using the Xbox LIVE Vision Camera also allows players to use a series of game faces using the snapshot mode for all-ins, wins, losses, folds and more. Other features of the update include the following:

Improved usability such as the addition of Custom Match Lists, which allows gamers to view and select which available Custom Match game they would like to join.

Improved rich presence in the game, allowing players to not only see what their friends are up to, but also if they just won that big pot!

Improved matchmaking and user results.

Scoring and screens are more readable than before.

Multi-language support including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

There has also been a few more gamer pictures and themes for you to burn your money on.

Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer Beta

On stage during Microsoft’s press conference to demo Call of Duty 4 gameplay for the first time, two developers from Infinity Ward announced that they would be bringing a multiplayer beta of CoD4 exclusively to Xbox Live.

Konami says that Metal Gear Solid 4 may not be PS3 Exclusive

Konami executive Kazumi Kitaue, head of Konami North America and European ops, dropped a bombshell today saying that Metal Gear Solid 4 may move to other consoles in an attempt to recoup development costs. He also said the PS3 price drop may not turn the ship around. The natural assumption, given the console hardware technology, is that Metal Gear Solid 4 will see its day on the Xbox 360, destroying one of the final feathers in Sony’s hat of exclusives.

Scratched Xbox 360 Disks Lead to a Lawsuit Against Microsoft

A man from Florida has filed a federal lawsuit against Microsoft, accusing the company of defective design with the Xbox 360. Jorge Brouwer’s lawsuit focuses on issues with scratched disks rather than the infamous red Ring of Death that has plagued many consoles. You can read the full story here.

Xbox 360 Chatpad Details and Price

The Xbox 360 Chatpad was announced back when the Spring Update was released, however, some new information has been posted on Xbox.com.

The Chatpad will be part of something called the “Xbox 360 Messenger Kit” which will also include a seperate headset. The Kit will be priced at $29.99 and will be available September 4th.
